well....i am sorry i haven't updated...again...haha!!! but my computer is broken so i have a good excuse. anyway, this summer so far has been amazing. best yet i would definitely say. There is a great group of people out here this summer and i have been making really good friends. Friends that i know i will keep for the rest of my life. I have been very out and about this summer. I've been taking out a boat atleast once a week if not more....the joys of working 4-11 everyday is that i can go to the beach or take a boat out before going to work! It's been great! I really love working in the restaraunt. The food is expensive and i can build up the check so i get a higher tip with wine, dessert, appetizers...etc. i sold two $105 bottles of wine last night! woo!
Lets see...i have a lot of stuff planned for this summer. Tomorrow a group of us are taking a trip to phoenix to go see Transformers on Imax! Then next week about 12 of us are going to Vegas for a couple days. It should be a blast! I am also going on a hike to Toadstool on Sunday and a few trips to other cool places hiking etc. Hopefully a float trip down the Colorado as well.
It's crazy how fast this summer is going by. I can't believe a lot of my friends will be leaving in the next month. For all you SLC'ers i will be up for a couple of days in july before i go to England. So you will see that i do indeed still exist! haha!
Anyway, even tho i am having the time of my life...i do miss you guys and once i decide to grow up and be a responsible adult you will see me again. being miserable doing homework...blah! But yes....i definitely do not regret in any way shape or form taking a break from school to travel around. I have had so many life experiences that i will take with me and have learned great lessons from. Believe it or not, i have grown up a lot in the past year and a half. Anyway, see ya later. Love hearing your updates even if there far and few. Im very proud of you and the wonderful person you are, no one could have a better daughter. Its good you have fun now then always wished you had. That said ive be happy when your ready to be a responsible adult, tho thats not quite true, i feel you are a responsible adult already but the part i would like best is to be able to spend more time with you. With whats going on with nanny its made me see how much you need to value the time you can with the people you love. Im very happy you offered to be my travel buddy yet again. Who would have thought New York and London in a few months!! I guess we dont get to spend a lot of time together but we do spend lots of quaity time together. I wish it was for a different reason but it will be wondeful to spend time with nanny and bill. And to see steve and ann and family again.
